I personally was very pleased to have the opportunity of being "virtually" present as this was the very first Rosh Hashanah that I can remember from a very young girl not attending shul for a New Year service.

The principle of transmitting a service... is absolutely wonderful. I live some 40 miles one way from the nearest synagogue. The nearest mainline train station is also about 40 miles away. Buses where I live are almost non existent and are considerably unreliable. Thus the only realistic method of transport is by car. I am a pensioner and my wife whilst not yet in a wheelchair has significant problems with MS and I assist her in many matters of daily life. The duration of being away from her for attending a synagogue service would be between 4 to 5 hours which is not practical and that is by car. Thus the facility of attending a service online is simply wonderful and extremely beneficial to personal spiritual well being.
Please accept my thanks for the facility you provided over the last weekend and also pass on my grateful thanks to everyone involved. I look forward to following more services online...

I watched a combination of the services from Finchley and Alyth... On Saturday I listened to the Glasgow (audio) broadcast...
it was fantastic to be able to take part in the service in this way. I was able to listen or watch most of the services, and it was great to feel connected to the wider community while I am physically unable to attend services at Shul.
